American Idol's on tonight, and I'm definitely gonna be tuned in...somehow I find it real amusing to observe people that're completely oblivious to the fact that their singin' is garbage...

Did 11 hours of "details" yesterday, because the bay I'm staying in [A-Bay] had mulitple room and detail failures. My roommates and I passed our room inspections, but our detail, which involves daily cleaning of the large "latrine" [restroom] across from our room, didn't fare so well. So the entire Saturday, which is normally free, we had to spent in our BDU's, cleaning up our personal areas to even more stringent standards, and working on cleaning the latrines until they were in immaculate condition. I dind't mind the whole ordeal too much, 'cause it emphasizes the importance of "clean is good" and "filth is bad," where other Airmen seem to be fond of thinking that it's the other way around...

Superbowl Sunday! Since I'm a West Coast guy, I'll have to root for the ol' Raiders...in the AF detachment pool, I have 'em winning by the score of 35-21...

fun...

"What is there in my brain that allows me to feel that I, as an individual, live in a real world, can imagine without perception, know who I am, and am able to decide what I want to do?"

Buncha sales at the neighborhood Target, so I went on a shoppin' rampage, pickin' up 3 DVD's, 4 CD's, and 2 PS2 titles there last night. Here go the spoils hauled in...

DVD's
Crouching Tiger, HD~$11
XXX~$14
Amelie~$14

PS2 titles
Virtua Fighter 4~$10 [arguably one of the best fighting titles ever, according to places like gamespot.com and egmmag.com ]
NBA Street~$10

CD's [first 2 undiscounted]

~Matchbox 20, more than you think you are~$14 ['cause people mention I've got a similar singin' style... ]
