"KREG playin' the Hits 24-7..."

Played a 7-inning game of baseball on Sunday w/ friends, and offense definitely wasn't in short supply.  Going into the bottom of the 5th inning, my team was actually up by the NFL-esque score of 24-7.  We ended up scoring 11 runs in the top of the 5th, and I contributed my fair share to the barrage by driving home 5 RBI's on an RBI single and a Grand Slam.  Dude, that 4-run jack felt exhilarating.  If you're ever in a situation like that, w/ your teammates eggin' you on to hit a bomb, and you do end up hittin' 1 out...it's a good feeling.  There's nothing like pullin' through big time for your 'Mates...

We ended up nabbing the W, and I finished w/ a line of 5-9, 8 RBI's, 5-runs.  Ain't too shabby in LF either, bringin' us to Ichi-Bro's "Public Service Announcement"...

"Eye of the Tiger"...

Put up a good fight against the #1 guy Jeff, but he ended up gettin' the W by the score of 6-4, 7-6.  Despite the L, I'm content 'cause now I know that I can hang w/ the top guy[s] on the Tour. And *gasp* even pull out the W's.  It'll be fun.  Yup, that's key...

"Toot, toot!..."

Well, today I'll be facing the #1 guy on the PS Tour who's currently on a 10 match win streak.  I'm #18, but I'll try to put in the best effort I can to derail this train...

Neutralizing fireworks...

Spent the 4th on the tennis courts fr. 8am-12pm. Won the contest 7-5, 7-5. Opponent and I then just honed shots 'til 12pm. Guy wielded a killer forehand, but I'd been able to contain it and pull out the W...

Fr. 6pm to 10:30pm, enjoyed the festivities at G. Park w/ friends. Wasn't scorching like in '02, which bode well. Fireworks were majestically beautiful...for the 1st 15 min. Then that beauty sort of neutralized itself in my mind's eye...

After the show, the pack headed to ABC Garden for Chinese cuisine. Good food, but I struggled with shaking the notion that items w/ ABC in it stood for "Aleady Been Chewed." I pointed that out before ordering, and *poof*...no ABC's. No gripes here... =p
