3 day wknd.! (the Trilogy...)
11 straight days on the jobby-job, and it's yet another 3 day clinic on the art of chillaxation before the start of the biggest week of taxation. It's definitely kicked itself off w/ a splash, as a heavy dose of luck sprinkled w/ slight pinch of skill allowed me to maneuver through a field of 52 players to win the 4.7 Cascade tourney. It's the biggest fish I've reeled in thus far in my fledgling "career," so I'm pretty stoked about it. Also 'cause I always seemed to finish anywhere from 3rd-5th in that particular tourney when I happen to finish in the scrilla there. But the funny thing is I'm probably more thrilled w/ the little chip (picked out an ice-blue one, hehe) they give out to all their tournament winners since it's something that's fairly elusive to a lot of players, and by virtue of that makes it a commodity. Plus, now I've got something "cool" enough to weigh down my cards at the tables, hehe. I'd also say to match the ice-water that courses through my veins that fuels the unflappable nature, but that'd sound too pretentious, lol. =p
